TNA assisted with the launch of X&Y Magazine in Melbourne this month
Gen Y was out in force on Tuesday night to celebrate the launch of X&Y Magazine. Held at the decadent Trak Cinema in Toorak, guests were greeted with tongue tingling cocktails and served delicious canapés by SMXL. BrokeNdjs (Aaron Gilbertson, Greg Chalmers and Rob Cumming) kept the crowd entertained while highlights from the magazine were projected onto the movie screen which included Fashion Editor Amber Renae’s and Endless Summer fashion story photographed by up and coming talent Nirrimi Hakanson and Matt Caplin.
In attendance were a bevy of Melbourne’s Gen Y including Rhys T Bobridge (So You Think You Can Dance), Ryan Whelan (Project Runway), Brodie Young (actor), Alexi Freeman (Fashion Designer), Kathleen Aldona Duff (Miss World Finalist), Jamie Brooksby (Big Brother winner 2006 plus 300 of Melbourne's most fashionable guests.
X&Y Magazine is the brainchild of writer and entrepreneur Valeria Gosse who saw a gap in the market “There isn’t anything like X&Y in Australia. I wanted to create an edgy free online lifestyle hub that showcases everything that affects generation Y. Exploring what they enjoy, where they shop, what they wear, the places they go, the food they nibble, the bars they frequent, the movies they see, the music they listen to, and the people that make it all happen.” Says Valeria
The X&Y team consists of Editor & Publisher Valeria Gosse, co-editor Adam Baidawi, Fashion Editor Amber Renae, Entertainment Editor Georgia Frances King and an amazing team of 40 writers stationed all over Australia.
